Paris when it Sizzles runtime 1hr 46
Hotshot Hollywood screenwriter Richard Benson (William Holden) is in trouble. He sold a script idea to decadent producer Alexander Meyerheim (Noel Coward), but has wasted all the time he had to finish the screenplay by traipsing around Paris. With just a couple of days left before the deadline, Benson gets a new assistant named Gabrielle Simpson (Audrey Hepburn), who helps him put together a love story by acting out all the possible scenarios. But life eventually beginning to imitate art.

John Cleese plays a school headmaster obsessed with punctuality whose best laid plans to attend a headmasters’ conference go wrong when he boards the wrong train. He turns back to find alternative means of transport, hijacking one of his pupils who is taking the afternoon off school in her father’s car. As the journey descends into further chaos, the head begins to lose his schoolmasterly poise.

Feeling Grateful …
As a 3rd sector group we are very fortunate to have funders who support us both financially and through advice. One of the funders who have helped us massively through our journey is The Holywood Trust, today I’m at a fabulous wee lunch with the trust and other groups that the trust supports.
